Respect Life/ Right to Life

The St. Mark Respect Life Committee works to bring awareness to the value and dignity of life from conception to natural death. We provide resources to the parish on life issues and do our best to support our clergy to make a pro-life mindset visible and viable at the parish level. The Respect Life Committee also works to support the pro-life mission in four main areas: prayer and worship, education, pastoral care and public policy.
Our Respect Life Committee helps meet the needs of our most vulnerable – mothers and their unborn children – by offering spiritual, emotional and practical support as a Gabriel Network site.  We support those who are ill and unable to attend Mass with our Homebound Ministry. The Respect Life Committee also does its best to keep parishioners informed of upcoming important legislation.
