Religious Education

St. Marks is privileged to serve more than 400 students in our religious education programs.
We provide catechesis to nurture the children and youth as they grow in their friendship with Jesus.
Our Religious Education programs of study are for children and youth whose academic school curriculum
does not include the teachings of the Roman Catholic Tradition. We focus on fostering their
relationship with Jesus Christ and introducing them to the God that loves them.
We use materials that are approved by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops that address
topics that include but are not limited to: Catholic doctrine, Mass and prayer, moral formation,
Catholic social teaching and scripture utilizing the traditions and rich history of our Catholic
faith preparing them for an active life in a secular society.
