What a week we have had! Adoration 24/7, Masses, Confession, hourly rosaries around the clock, people from all over the County and beyond visiting our church and our chapel — all thanks to the Rosary Congress that concluded on Friday. I have to thank Julie Tomko, Anita Cain and Tom Mackin especially for the enormous amount of time and work they put into scheduling the Holy Hours, compiling the binders with mysteries of the Rosary, the Divine Mercy Chaplet, Guides for spending an hour with Jesus and other assorted prayers as well as constructing the liturgies. Many people think things at church “just happen,” but there is an enormous amount of time, effort and creativity that goes into an event like this. THANK YOU!
If you did not have the opportunity to participate in the talks, Masses, or adoration remember we have daily Mass each day at 9 AM, adoration all day Friday in the Chapel and many opportunities for learning about the faith. Do not be like the ungrateful and busy people in the Gospel this weekend who did not accept the invitation of the king to come to the banquet when invited. The KING is still inviting!
